kasi when you look at the degree of certainity, hope is something that you desire,when expectation is something that you anticipate. halimbawa sa pregnancy, if you're expecting a baby then i congratulate you, but when you're just hoping for it, it's either you're a bad shooter or a sore loser hahalol. just kidding. expectation is the positive side of the two.
when you expect, you do everything para matupad yung expectations mo, and in the end di ka mahurt and mafrustrate, which makes it more hurtful pag hindi natupad.
on the other hand, hoping is just passively waiting for that something. you don't do a step to make it more real. and when it happens, it's a bonus na lang.
so i guess both have up and downsides. basta samahan ng prayer, all else will be ok. :) hehehe
